Well the plan was to read one chapter and continue later. Clearly THAT is not going to work. Great suspense right from the get-go. Already we’re immersed in a world of relationships, conflicts, visceral places, history, story.

This is, of course, for a writer, very relatable. In so many ways. The family drama when a scene is stolen from a memory; the rejections. Very well drawn.
